Elected officials control a lot of things. Deadlines and timelines are often one of them. When a constituent emails their city councilor or housing authority, there's no clock, no record, no pressure. Just a message that may or may not get a response. clock.email is a small attempt to change that. CC a clock.email address when you contact a government office and a public timer starts. It counts up from the moment you sent your email. Anyone can see it. It stops when the issue is resolved.
